- Knoxxa Digital Ltd – Acceptable Use Policy (AUP) for Starlink Services
This Acceptable Use Policy (“AUP”) defines acceptable use of SpaceX’s Starlink internet services and the associated Starlink Kit, provided by Knoxxa Digital Ltd. Compliance with this AUP is a material part of your service agreement for the Starlink internet service (“Service Terms”). This policy ensures a secure, lawful, and optimal experience for all Starlink users and adheres to legal and regulatory standards. By using Starlink services, you agree to this AUP and all associated responsibilities.
Examples of AUP Violations
Violation of any of the following terms may result in the restriction, suspension, or termination of Starlink services. Examples include, but are not limited to:
- Unauthorized System Access: Accessing accounts or systems of others without permission, including spoofing URLs, DNS, or IP addresses of SpaceX or other entities.
- Spam and Attacks: Transmitting unsolicited communications, conducting denial-of-service attacks, or engaging in activities like spamming, flaming, or network abuse.
- Email Interference: Intercepting or redirecting emails or other communications intended for others.
- Malicious Code: Introducing harmful code, such as viruses, worms, or Trojan horses, into the Starlink network or the internet at large.
- Illegal Content: Engaging in fraudulent, obscene, defamatory, or deceptive conduct.
- Intellectual Property Violations: Violating the intellectual property rights of SpaceX or any third parties, such as copyright or trademark infringement.
- Network Harm: Any conduct harmful to the Starlink network, the internet, or other internet users.
- Non-compliance with SpaceX Rules: Using Starlink services or equipment in a way that violates SpaceX policies or guidelines, including NOTMAR compliance and avoiding hazard areas near SpaceX launches.
- Prohibited Content: Transmitting or storing content involving child pornography, or content that is sexually explicit, cruel, racist, or otherwise promotes hatred.
- Trade Control Violations: Using the Starlink service or equipment in violation of international trade controls specified in the Service Terms.
Intellectual Property Infringement
Knoxxa Digital Ltd and SpaceX respect third-party intellectual property rights. Users may not store material or use the service in ways that infringe upon such rights, including copyright law. Violators, particularly repeat offenders, may face service termination. SpaceX reserves the right to suspend or terminate services if it suspects any activities that could constitute third-party intellectual property infringement.
Network Resource Management
To maintain optimal service, SpaceX may manage the Starlink network by analyzing traffic patterns, limiting the spread of malicious code, and controlling network congestion. Services may be restricted, suspended, or terminated if excessive resource use is detected or if it threatens the network’s integrity.
Enforcement of AUP
Failure to follow this AUP may result in actions ranging from a warning to immediate suspension or termination of services. Knoxxa Digital Ltd and SpaceX reserve the right to act promptly and without prior notice if they believe your conduct might:
- Expose SpaceX or Knoxxa Digital Ltd to legal or regulatory action.
- Harm or interfere with Starlink services, including other users’ experience.
- Violate any laws, regulations, or intellectual property rights.
- Create imminent risks to Knoxxa Digital Ltd, SpaceX, or their customers.
In cases of service termination due to AUP violations, all applicable charges for Starlink equipment and services will remain in effect. Knoxxa Digital Ltd and SpaceX retain the right to seek additional remedies as allowed by law.
Policy Updates
Knoxxa Digital Ltd and SpaceX reserve the right to revise or amend this AUP at any time in accordance with the Service Terms. Changes become effective as soon as they are posted in the Starlink Customer Portal or sent to you. Continued use of Starlink services constitutes acceptance of the updated AUP. You may terminate the service through the Starlink Customer Portal if you do not agree with any changes.
